It's official, the holiday season is here! We hope you didn't spend last Friday fighting aggressive crowds of impatient shoppers. There's a reason the day after Thanksgiving is called, Black Friday. It's a dark, dark, time to go shopping. We skipped the stores and stayed home in our pajamas, watched Christmas movies, and ate leftovers. It was awesome.
Today is our shopping day. We'll make ourselves a peppermint mocha, snuggle up with the pups, and get our holiday shopping done in the comfort of our homes. Sounds good, doesn't it?
Join us! But before you start shopping, take a look at our gift list of favorite things. Just click on the links to order.

THE PERFECT GIFTS FOR HOME COOKS

If you want to cook with success, these are a few of our favorite things. With a teapot thrown in, because a cup of tea in the afternoon is life. (Amazon affiliate links below)
Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 5-Quart French (Dutch) Oven
A good Dutch oven that will last forever is something every cook needs. We adore Le Creuset's beautiful cast iron 5-quart oval Dutch oven. It looks as good as the food you make in it!

Some of the recipes we love to make in a dutch oven are...
Cast Iron Skillet
If you follow us regularly, you know that we LOVE cooking in cast-iron skillets. They heat so evenly, they can go from cooktop to oven, and they clean up like a breeze. Once you go cast-iron, you'll never want to cook with anything else.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls ⚫️ Buffalo Chick'n Dip ⚫️ Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie
Black Gooseneck Tea Kettle
Brew a cup of tea every day! We absolutely love this gooseneck tea kettle. In fact, Alex has two in her home. Why do we love this tea kettle? Because the gorgeous long spout allows you to make an easy and controlled pour! No more worrying about hot water sloshing over the side of your tea cup!

Miyabi 8 Inch Chef's Knife
There's nothing a budding (or experienced) chef needs like a fantastic chef's knife! There's nothing like a Miyabi. Speaking from experience, they're extremely precise, easy to handle, and are also just beautiful. They're well worth the price tag!

Le Creuset Grill Pan
We like to grill. A lot! And when you live where it's cold nine months out of the year, you want a grill pan. You'll soon learn all about our obsession with grilling and BBQ when our cookbook is released in March!

Our Favorite Grill Pan Recipes
Vegan Grilled Chick'n ⚫️ Grilled Pineapple ⚫️ Beet Burgers
VEGAN GIFT GUIDE: OUR MUST HAVE KITCHEN APPLIANCES

KitchenAid Matte Black Stand Mixer
Our mixers are always on our counter top, so they might as well be pretty. We're in love with this simple matte black mixer from KitchenAid. They also come in more gorgeous colors!

Our Favorite Stand Mixer Recipes
Vegan Red Velvet Cupcakes ⚫️ Chocolate Walnut Cookies ⚫️ Homemade Pizza Dough
Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor
This is a must have if you love our Smokey Southern-Style Meatloaf or our BBQ Carrots. It's also great for making a nutty pie crust or energy balls.

What You Can Make With a Food Processor
Vitamix Blender - Black
Linda is Team Blendtec, but Alex is team Vitamix! To be fair, we've both had our respective blenders for years and they disappoint. They whip cashews into the creamiest sauces and cheese, and they make the best smoothies.

Our Favorite Smoothie Recipes
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie ⚫️ Peach Cobbler Smoothie ⚫️ Orange Sweet Potato Smoothie
KitchenAid Hand Blender
This is our go to for making creamy soups in the pot. No need to pour your soup into a blender in separate batches, just put the stick blender in the pot and watch your veggies turn into the most velvety cream soup ever.

FUN KITCHEN APPLIANCES
The only thing we have on this list is the slow cooking Crock Pot. What??!! If anyone wants to know what we want for Christmas, we'd love an air fryer and instant pot 😉

Instant Pot DUO60 6 Qt 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
Cut your cooking time in half with an Instant Pot.

Avalon Bay Air Fryer, For Healthy Fried Food
Love fried food, just not the copious amount of oil and calories? Then you need an air fryer in your life.

Crock-Pot SCCPVL600S Cook' N Carry 6-Quart Oval Manual Portable Slow Cooker
As convenient as a slow cooker is, I don't use mine nearly enough. I love the process of cooking, it's therapeutic to me. However, if you work outside of your home, or you prefer to let the machine do all of the work, then this is for you.

Oh what a great list! I love the hammered copper casserole dish and anything copper/brass <3
And now I wish I'd had chosen the metallic copper kitchen aid instead of the black one 😀
Linda Meyer says
Thank you, Bianca! I love copper too, and like you, I have the black mixer. If I'm really lucky, Santa will bring me the copper one to put out on my counter top and I can store the black one. As you know, food bloggers can always use two of everything when it comes to kitchen tools. 🙂
Christine @ Run Plant Based says
Great gift guide, thanks! We're looking at adding more cast iron this year.
Linda Meyer says
My pleasure! Cast-iron is my favorite material to cook in. There's nothing like it. 🙂
